Denis & Rambo III of the SEA Games champion Qualification

Christian Denis Sanjaya with his horse 'Rambo' emerged as the champion in the SEA Games qualifying series for the number eventing. This qualification is the third qualification for the eventing hosted by Indonesia Equestrian Federation (EFI).

Athletes of Arthayasa Stables is in the race that was held in Arthayasa Stables, Cinere, posting the smallest error rate, 66.60. Number eventing combines three disciplines ie dressage, show jumping and cross country.

At number Dressage, Denis and Rambo was ranked fourth. When completed the numbers show jumping, they climbed to second place under Joko Susilo with his horse 'Tag Heur. "Joko should then submit his lead on Denis after completing a number of cross-country day Saturday, May 28, 2011.

"I get an error because the record time worse than Denis. But overall I feel progress in my own self and also the Tag Heur," said Joko who recorded 73.60 error rate.

Denis himself satisfied with his performance. Rambo had trouble controlling some initial hurdles, the 22-year-old athlete was finally able to re-set the rhythm for later emerged as the champion.

Following behind Denis and Johnny is Asep Lesmana with his horse 'Bougenville'. Asep of Bala Turangga 84.50 collecting error rate. In fourth place was teammate Asep, jurnhiir Hatta with tense horse (87.30). While there Christianto Mario was fifth of 14 participants with a total error rate 101.00.

Qualifying times was attended by several delegates from the International Equestrian Federation (FEI). Jim Dunn is the Chairman of the Jury happy with what is shown athletes Indonesia.

"A lot of improvement that I see compared to the last time I came to Indonesia. With hard work, they have a chance to talk a lot in the SEA Games," said Dunn.

Arsyad Achmadin representing the Indonesian SEA Games Organizing Committee (Inasoc) assess what is shown EFI in holding qualifications can still be improved.

"Arena is a very good game. But it should be noted also to provide a place for the audience so they can be more comfortable watching the game," said Arsyad.

Meanwhile Irvan Gading, President of EFI, said it would still hold a few more qualifications to ultimately determine who is entitled to defend Indonesia in the SEA Games.

"Next week there is another qualification for the numbers show jumping and dressage. We will make every effort possible so that the two-gold target is reached. Who knows could be better," said Irvan
